Fees and rebates

Our fee to see a Clinical Psychologist is $185 per 50 minute session. Psychologists at our practice are Medicare accredited. If you are referred under the Medicare Better Access Scheme you maybe eligible to receive 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate is $137.05 If referred under the Better Access Scheme, the out of pocket cost per session is $48. Belmont Psychology is equipped to process Medicare rebates immediately via your savings or cheque account. Payments can be made by EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard.

Health insurance

We are registered with all major health insurance funds. Please contact your insurance fund to discuss rebates as this depends on your individual level of cover.

Cancellation policy

Scheduled appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.

Referrals

We do not require a referral to see you. However, if you are eligible for the Medicare Rebate under the Better Access Scheme, you will need a formal referral from a GP or Psychiatrist to claim the rebate. Please bring a copy of the referral when attending first session.
