We aim to provide high quality health care to manage personal and interpersonal difficulties.<br \/>Belmont Psychology comprises of a Clinical Psychologist and a Registered Psychologist. Practitioners have their own areas of interest to support you with a wide variety of difficulties, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Depression<\/li>\n<li>Anxiety and phobias<\/li>\n<li>Panic attacks<\/li>\n<li>Stress management<\/li>\n<li>Grief and loss<\/li>\n<li>Parenting<\/li>\n<li>Adjustment issues<\/li>\n<li>Sleep problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Our Psychologists<\/h3>\n<p><div class=\"responsive-tabs\">\n<h2 class=\"tabtitle\">Dr Rita Alvis<\/h2>\n<div class=\"tabcontent\">\n (0432 386 665)<\/p>\n<p>I founded Belmont Psychology in 2008 to provide quality yet affordable psychological support in the area. My interest is in working collaboratively with you to provide strategies to manage mood and change unhelpful behaviour. I am experienced in addressing difficulties relating to depression, anxiety, stress management, adjustment issues and grief. I use schema therapy to help resolve past events. I am also qualified in providing pregnancy support counselling.<\/p>\n<p>I completed my PhD and Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Western Australia. I have been registered as a Clinical Psychologist since 2006.<\/p>\n<p>I work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8.30am to 2.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div><h2 class=\"tabtitle\">Ivanka Siljanoski<\/h2>\n<div class=\"tabcontent\">\n (0421 888 651)<\/p>\n<p>I am a registered psychologist with APHRA and the Psychology Board of Australia. During the past 15 years I have been working as a psychologist across government and non-government sectors, especially in providing multi systemic interventions with families, children and adolescents at risk.<\/p>\n<p>I joined Belmont Psychology in 2013. I provide interventions to adults, children and adolescents presenting with a range of psycho-social difficulties including depression, anxiety, addictive behaviour and trauma.<\/p>\n<p>My passion is client centred approach and holistic psychotherapy incorporating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness Based Therapy.<\/p>\n<p>My focus is on empowering the client and working with their strengths.<\/p>\n<p>I work on Wednesdays and Saturdays.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to Belmont Psychology Belmont Psychology is an established practice offering clinical services and interventions.
