Fees and rebates

My fee is $185 for a 50 minute session. If you are referred under the Medicare Better Access Scheme you maybe eligible to receive 10 rebated sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate is $137.05. If referred under the Better Access Scheme, the out of pocket cost per session is $48. Belmont Psychology is equipped to process Medicare rebates immediately via your savings or cheque account. Payments can be made by EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard.

Health insurance

I am registered with most major health insurance funds. Please contact your insurance fund to discuss rebates as this depends on your individual level of cover.

Cancellation policy

Scheduled appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that a cancellation fee may be charged if a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.

Referrals

I do not require a referral to see you. However, if you are eligible for the Medicare Rebate under the Better Access Scheme, you will need a formal referral from a GP or Psychiatrist to claim the rebate. Please bring a copy of the referral when attending first session.
